A lot has happened behind the scenes at StyleWP during the first quarter of 2010 and we have made some necessary changes as outlined below.

The founding developer, sufferred ill-health throughout the majority of Winter 09-10, which unfortunately left StyleWP hanging in the balance until ownership of StyleWP shifted slightly with the merger of two UK-based development companies back in February. Contact between StyleWP and it’s customers did unfortunately cease to exist for a period of 3 months whilst this was ongoing, which we hope to rectify with immediate results.

The merger was a necessary step if we were to improve the products found at StyleWP.

Ownership of the site is now a joint-affair combining a total of 7 dedicated Wordpress developers following strict development guidelines as laid down by the new co-owners and the founding developer, ensuring consistancy throughout our collection of themes.

Throughout March & April, the most popular theme’s were hand-picked and re-written from scratch using new techniques and making use of more features found within the core of Wordpress.  The reliance on 3rd-party plugins was removed completely and several enhancements were implemented into each theme’s code.

Custom coded widgets are now very prominent in all theme’s found at StyleWP, this enables you to enjoy true drag n’ drop capabilities as opposed to static blocks of code which can be found in earlier versions of our theme’s.

Our intention is to re-write all existing theme’s using the same technique as a platform to build upon for the future. All updates will be processed automatically so you should recieve any updates you are entitled to via email from E-Junkie.

We have also changed the way in which you will recieve support by adding contact forms to all of our theme site’s that link you directly to the developers responsible for each particular theme. This ensure you are speaking to the correct people who know everything there is to know about the theme they developed.
